Appearance：      white powder or crystallic powder

Stability：         decomposition>300℃；hygroscopic；decomposes slowly on contact with water under formation of oxalic acid, boric acid and lithium oxalates

Solubility：       17％ in propylene carbonate(25℃)；

30% in tetrahydrofuran(23℃)；

42% in tetrahydrofuran(50℃);

35% in water (hydrolysis)

Good solubility in carbonate mixture,glymes, carboxylic esters, ketones;

Spectroscopic Properties：δ11B=7.6ppm；δ13C=159.1ppm

Application：LiBOB is a new and proprietary conductive salt for the use in high performance batteries like lithium batteries, lithium ion batteries and lithium polymer batteries. The new halide-free product may be used instead of traditional fluorinated compounds like LiPF6, LiBF4, Li-triflate, methanides, imides etc.

Handing and Storage：the product should be handled in dry atmosphere (glove box, dry room with max.20ppm H2O)

Transport Regulations：Not classified as dangerous goods according to official transport regulations.
